I don't think this needs a bunch of explaining...
10. Infamous 2
Infamous 2 continues and improves everything the first one did right. Played it 3 times already, and not once it got boring. Not many superhero games nail this: you really feel powerful. that's a super important detail that Sucker Punch hit home here.

9. Mirrors Edge
Mirrors edge is one hell of a unique game. A first person game that you can completely play through without potentially killing anyone while parkouring and running from your life? combined with an artstyle that is downright gorgeous, the game will always have a special place in my heart .
8. League of Legends
I really don't know what else to say. Check my review on this site and see why i love this game so much.
7. Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Despite fucking stupid title, MGR is a superb character action game that is so satisfying to play. Combined with arguably the best soundtrack in video game history, you have a masterpiece at your hands.
6. Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition
The only character action game in my book that's able to top MGR. The game has a great story and characters that you will remember long after the credits roll. the game's combat is amazing having your adrenaline pumping the entire time + it may have my favorite video game boss of all time in it. I still get goosebumps from the lines: "BLAST OFF" and "BREAKDOWN" every time i hear them.

5.Shadow of the Colossus
This is one of those games that i will bring up when being told that games can't be art. There is something magical about an empty land who's only inhabitants are giant creatures called colossi. The greatest thing is that there is no random canon fodder enemies, only the giant creatures that are the colossi. Fighting these things feels amazing since you are nothing more than a splinter in their flesh, and somehow you are supposed to kill 13 of them??? Its amazing you should REALLY pick this one up.
4. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Everything that has been said about this game has already been said. People have been kissing this game's ass since it came out and for a good reason. Never in a game i have experienced as much freedom as in Skyrim. You can literally do anything that you want. Be whoever you want. And with the modding community still pumping out content, this game is almost a timeless classic already.
DISCLAIMER: THE TOP 3 OF THIS LIST IS A SUBJECT TO CHANGE!!! THESE GAMES ARE ALL ON THE SAME LEVEL IN MY OPINION BUT A LIST IS A LIST RIGHT?
3. Persona 4 Golden
Its really hard to explain a game like persona 4 golden." A handheld JRPG is on your top 3?" the thing is you need to play P4G to find out why. It is one of the most immersive, addictive and fun rpg's out there. There is a weird sims kinda feel to it. Fuck this is hard to explain. I'm usually against buying a system for a game, but i would say buying a Vita or a Playstation tv just for this is worth it. Its really that good.
2. Metal gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear series must be my favorite series of all time, and MGS3 is the best. The story is easily followable, even if you just started playing Metal Gear, a cast of great characters, tight gameplay that has you grinding your teeth with excitement, and a story that made me cry like a bitch. You can't go wrong with this one. If you have Xbox360 or a ps2 or 3 you need to play this game. Do it for America!
1. Mass Effect 2
I don't think i have ever get attached to a video game character more than i did when i played through Mass Effect 2. The story is so well written, and the characters become more than just your A.I squadmates. They become your friends. The whole series is an amazing extremely personal journey that sticks with you for years and years to come. I have played the game through twice, both with the male and the female variation of the main character and got a completely diffrent game each time. The gameplay is excellent too, with some tactical depth added to otherwise good 3rd person shooter. Mass effect 2 is the perfect video game in my opinion, and you owe it to yourself to check it out.
